mmmmhhhhh…that was some mighty fine eating last Thursday.

I hope you were one of the crowd that came by and chowed down on our bountiful burritos. They were bursting with flavor and very filling. The line of eaters waiting for seconds seem to indicate that they were also a hit.

We are really looking forward to this coming Thursday, when we will be dishing up some “I am mighty Channa Masala (Indian chickpeas). So be at the multifaith chapel at 5pm this Thursday to get your share.

And don’t forget, we could really use a few volunteers to stop by and help prepare the meal anytime between 1:30-6pm.

Last weeks recipe:

I am bountiful Burritos

Two cups cooked pinto beans

1 sliced onion

1 clove garlic minced

1 green, 1 red and 1 yellol pepper sliced

Cup mushrooms

ts chilly powder

ts cumin powder

ts oragano

salt and pepper to taste

Saute the onion and garlic till the onion turns golden, then add the chilly and cumin powder. cook about 30 seconds then add everything else (except the beans) and cook till done: about 10 minutes.

Wrap beans and veggies up in a flour tortilla and enjoy.
